Message and not engaging your turbos or driving them hard for the last five minutes or so before you shut down.

My turbos have 100K on them. My car was orginally female owned and as she put it, she "never dogged it." Judging by the shape of the car, I would have to agree.

My 87 Turbo 300ZX has well over 160K miles on it, and my sister, the original owner, hardly ever took it over 3000 RPM. She was the type of driver that would be in 5th gear by the time she was going 45 mph. No sign of that turbo wearing out either.

They both kept the oil changed religiously.

Our cars have safety boost for when the car is cold, but I would add to that don't boost until your oil pressure has dropped to normal range.

That, and keep your oil changed :c) So her record of oil changes is just as important.
